Our Mission
We founded New England Smile in order to provide comprehensive dental care to children, adolescents and special needs patients of all ages, as well as state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment for kids and adults alike.
Our goal is to provide guidance to patients and families so that everyone can enjoy a beautiful smile and a lifetime of healthy teeth.
Our Commitment
Here at New England Smile we are committed to providing the highest quality dental and orthodontic care possible.
We hold ourselves to the highest standards, both professionally and with our patients, and our staff takes great pride in treating everyone with caring and respect.
Most recently, we were voted by our local community as Hulafrog's Most Loved Pediatric Dental AND Orthodontic practice in the Plymouth area! We take great pride in the care we provide, and we're extremely appreciative of everyone who's come through our office.
Our Team
Peter T. Phan
DMD
Orthodontist
Dr. Phan is a New Jersey boy who moved here to attend Tufts University School of Dental Medicine after receiving his Cell Biology & Neuroscience and Economics degrees from Rutgers University. He completed my training at Tufts University Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2011 in order to provide a high standard of treatment in Invisalign clear aligners, early orthodontic treatment (Phase I), traditional braces, adult orthodontics, and surgical orthodontics (orthognathic or jaw surgery).
Early in his career, Dr. Phan was invited back to Tufts to serve as part-time faculty. However, he gave up teaching when life pulled him into private practice full-time after he and his wife added two rambunctious daughters to their dog/beach/travel/food loving family.
He also LOVES creating brighter and better smiles for everyone on the Massachusetts South Shore and can't wait for all of you to join him at New England Smile Orthodontics!
Brian Schmid
DMD
Pediatric Dentist
Dr. Schmid holds a B.S. in biology from Bucknell University, and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine with honors from the Massachusetts Dental Society and the International College of Dentists.
Dr. Schmid completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at Saint Joseph Hospital for Specialty Care/Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, RI, where he developed a particular interest in sports dentistry and treating patients with special needs. In 2011 he was board certified in pediatric dentistry by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
